Tweedsmuir Bridge

£375.00

Bridging the Tweed at Tweedsmuir is Carlow's Bridge. This single arch stone bridge dates from 1783 and spans the young river Tweed at a narrow rocky passage known as Carlow's Linn or Carlowse Linn. I enjoyed my time drawing at this location, there’s quite a force as the river picks up pace and forces through the linn.

Acrylic on foam board mounted on ply

59.2×65.5cm

61.5×68cm in white float frame
