The Eildon Hills are hard to miss as part of the Borders landscape.
Wherever you view them from, they are quite magnificent and you feel compelled to draw or paint them.
In this piece, I used off-cuts of abstract work on oil paper to capture an Eildon sunset from a favourite viewing point.
Oil paint on oil paper, cut and collaged
28.5×25.5cm
40×30cm with misty grey mount in aluminium frame
